On August 5th Thunder Jet delivered their first patrol boat to the L.A. County Police . The 23 foot Alexis Outboard Offshore model is the first Thunder Jet to enter L.A. County  and is already  the crowning gem of their fleet of patrol boats. Arduous plans and specifications went into the making of this exceptionally safe, stable, and well equipped patrol vessel.
From the police radios, lights, and sirens down to the environmentally safe bottom paint this vessel has undergone a 118 point inspection and meets or exceeds all of the standards set forth for the Sheriff Patrol. Outfitted with twin Honda 150 outboard motors the vessel will approach speeds of up to 60mph on flat water. The 18 degree deep V hull allows the boat to perform well in even the most brutal stormy seas. This coupled with an extremely rigid hull with bracing every 12 inches on center makes for a vessel that can withstand the rigors of the roughest missions and keep coming back for more. Thunder Jet worked hand in hand with the Sheriff Department to make this the ideal vessel for their application.
