Thunder Jet goes to New York
| Thunder Jet is pleased to announce completion of a 23′ Alexis OB Os to be used as a research vessel for the State of New York USDA APHIS Wildlife Services.
This amazing vessel is built to withstand the rigors of constant saltwater use and will become the largest boat in New York’s APHIS fleet. Built to exacting standards of the USCG, NMMA, and ABYC this boat has a completely self bailing diamond tread deck making it an ideal work platform for rough seas. The Honda 225 pushes the boat in speeds excess of 50MPH which will ensure the Wildlife Services division will be able to complete their mission in a timely manner. Ordered at the beginning of March, 2009, and completed within 6 weeks time this vessel will enable more efficient and safe missions for the Wildlife Services crew. The 23′ hull boasts a .250 thick bottom and transom, .190 thick sides, and .190 diamond tread throughout. The hull is completely filled with closed cell polyurethane foam making it unsinkable and extremely quiet. Thunder Jet is looking forward to a long lasting good relationship with the State of New York USDA APHIS wildlife services division and many boats to be built in the future. Look for this amazing 23′ Thunder Jet in the near future along the New York coastline! |
