Thunder Jet then……
Established in 1981, Thunder Jet began with founder Darrell Mills heading up sales, his wife Liana doing the books, and employing 1 welder, rig tech and painter. Producing just 5 boats their first year, but that is all it took and Thunder Jet was the latest buzz.

Fast forward 25 years and nearly 5,000 boats later…
Thunder Jet now holds the position as one of the most successful Aluminum boating companies to ever exist, a direct result of their superior product and continued efforts to improve and adapt to the boating community needs.

Thunder Jet is an innovator and leader, laying the path for others to follow in regards to incorporating new technologies into boats, such as UHMW, Synthetic board material, refined paint and weld methods. These are things that will continue to keep Thunder Jet at the frontlines in the boating world.
